The client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chairperson to lead their Board of Directors in guiding the strategic direction of their work supporting Survivors of institutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Centre Manager and fellow Board members to ensure effective governance, strategic planning, and adherence to the Centre's mission of healing, education, and support. Key responsibilities include leading the Board in fulfilling governance duties, supporting strategic development, and promoting collaborative decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, preferably at the Board or senior management level, and a strong understanding of strategic planning and organisational development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a commitment to the values and mission of the client. While experience in community, education, social care, advocacy, or related sectors is welcomed, it is not required.
