The client seeks an experienced, dynamic leader to serve as the next Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology and Clinical Service Chief of Radiation Oncology. The role will guide the department as it builds on recent growth, strengthens partnerships to advance cancer care, research, and education, and supports efforts to expand the integrated academic health center’s national recognition and statewide impact.

The department includes faculty and advanced practice providers, lab-based scientific support, and administrative staff, with an expanding footprint across multiple sites. Key responsibilities include strengthening clinical integration across locations, advancing patient safety, supporting faculty and trainee development, and shaping a collaborative culture that promotes transparency and academic excellence while mentoring faculty as the program grows.

Candidates should be board-certified physicians in Radiation Oncology and be eligible for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor within the department. The client is looking for a substantial record of leadership and achievement across clinical, research, and educational oversight, with the ability to mature the department’s research profile and sustain progress in delivering advanced radiation treatment.
