The client invites applications and nominations for the next Chair of the Department of Neurosciences. The role is for a respected, board-certified academic neurologist with leadership experience in a medical school or similar academic environment. The department includes faculty in neurology and physical medicine and rehabilitation and supports clinical care across a statewide footprint, including community-based clinician educator models.
The Chair will lead and advance the department’s mission across both rural and urban settings while working effectively and collegially with colleagues throughout the region. This individual is expected to demonstrate strengths as a leader, educator, clinician, and scholar, with the ability to support multidisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration. The department also supports graduate and medical education activities, including a neurology residency program and opportunities for medical student clinical training.
