The Chair position reports to the Dean of the SMD and CEO of UR Medicine, and will be responsible for providing strategic, academic, and operational leadership in all mission areas. This role will involve guiding the growth of the clinical enterprise at various affiliate sites, enhancing research programs, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations, and creating a supportive environment for excellence in education, innovation, and faculty development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academic medicine, with experience in leading and managing diverse teams, as well as a track record of success in advancing research and education initiatives.The Chair will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the organization, working closely with senior leadership to drive growth and innovation. They will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
