The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Governors and work closely with our client to lead the Montreal Hospital. Responsibilities include overseeing patient care, operations, financial management, human resources, research, education, and key external stakeholder relations. The leadership team consists of 10 divisions, each headed by leaders in various areas such as nursing, medical affairs, rehabilitation, finance, and communications. The role requires collaboration with head office, the board of governors, physicians, employees, and partners within the Quebec healthcare network to balance local priorities with network standards and decision-making authorities.The successful candidate will join the organization during a period of continuous structural and system evolution, including the implementation of Workday and Epic (DHR). They must be comfortable leading change through influence and within a framework of shared responsibility. The Executive Director will be accountable for patient care, operations, financial stewardship, research, teaching, and key external relationships. The senior team includes leaders in nursing, medical affairs, human resources, research, finance, donor development, business development, and communications. The role operates in a matrixed environment, requiring collaboration with headquarters, the Board, physicians, employees, and healthcare partners in Quebec while balancing local priorities with system standards and decision rights.
