Description

The client is seeking a Regional Commercial Vice President to lead business growth across the Americas. This role will own full P&L responsibility for a growing business unit, including oversight of a small production facility and core internal functions such as sales, finance, HR, supply chain, logistics, and procurement. The vice president will guide the business unit commercially and strategically, contribute to larger global initiatives, and provide leadership across all core functions.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing the regional commercial strategy aligned with group and global goals, building a deep understanding of markets, customers, and products to inform strategic decisions, and ensuring direction is aligned with overall segment performance expectations. The role will lead commercial activities covering sales, business development, pricing, long-term contracts, and high-level negotiations, as well as identify and secure new business with private industry and government agencies across the region. It will also include assessing go-to-market strategy and partner relationships, partnering with global teams to drive operational improvements related to production and quality, and working with leadership and cross-functional partners such as R&D and product management to support development of new solutions.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field, with an MBA or Master’s degree preferred. Experience will include 15+ years in industrial B2B manufacturing—preferably chemicals, lubricants, or related products—with 3+ years in senior leadership roles responsible for commercial operations and P&L management. Strong financial acumen and a proven track record in business development and securing high-value contracts are required, along with solid commercial judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders in a global environment.
