the client is seeking an executive to define and deploy the business strategy in line with the group’s global direction and the guidance of the COO, ensuring business development, industrial competitiveness, and the positioning of technology within the group. The role is responsible for driving overall performance and aligning business execution across plants with corporate priorities.
Key responsibilities include managing the business’s economic results through monitoring P&L, budgets, and financial indicators to protect profitability and achieve established economic goals. The role will also lead and supervise plant activities through plant managers, using industrial and financial performance tracking to ensure targets for productivity, quality, safety, costs, and customer service are met. In addition, the executive will coordinate the rollout of corporate policies, processes, and standards with corporate functions and business-layer stakeholders to maintain organizational coherence and effective strategy execution at plant level.
The successful candidate will be expected to promote industrial improvement initiatives and cross-plant coordination with operations, engineering, and continuous improvement functions to enhance global productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness. They will support commercial and innovation teams in developing new business opportunities, contribute to the industrialization of projects, and help drive sustainable growth, while maintaining strategic relationships with key clients to reinforce trust and support portfolio stability and development. The role requires proven leadership experience directing Tier 1 or Tier 2 business in the automotive sector, including aluminum parts manufacturing and machining processes, and prior experience in general management, operations leadership, plant management, or manufacturing leadership roles, with responsibility for developing and evaluating plant managers and functional leaders and applying the group’s talent management policies.
