The client is a global luxury retail customer experience agency seeking an entrepreneurial leader to drive business growth and performance. The role is centered on managing a business unit with substantial autonomy, including ownership of budgeted P&L outcomes and ensuring overall profitability. You will lead with an entrepreneur’s mindset by developing a client portfolio and creating value for partner clients.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring client return on investment. You will oversee recruitment, training, coaching, and retention of business unit staff, set and review KPIs, and support incentive and performance reviews, including bonus decisions. The role also includes payroll review and approval responsibilities to ensure operational readiness and compliance with internal processes.
You will drive business development by identifying new opportunities and opening new client accounts, while supporting operations management through planning and execution oversight. This includes coordinating between teams, forecasting projects, and ensuring quality of execution, alongside preparing and tracking annual budgets. Requirements include an MBA or business/graduate-level education, at least 8 years of experience in retail, consulting, marketing, or sales within luxury or retail contexts, and demonstrated management experience, along with strong leadership and communication skills in English and a local language.
