The client is hiring a Business Head for Edible Beans to join its North American team. The role supports 360° search and business development in the global commodities markets, with a focus on expanding and strengthening edible bean trading and commercial opportunities across North America and international destinations.
Key responsibilities include expanding edible bean markets (such as black beans, cannellini beans, chickpeas, kidney beans, lima beans, and pinto beans), growing product lines for new business and network expansion, and developing and maintaining relationships with bean growers, producers, and customers. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams across trading, supply chain, logistics, and processing, helping manage contracts from shipping through payment.
The role requires experience trading edible beans in North American markets, along with strong customer and grower relationships and an established network in North American agricultural markets. The client expects knowledge of managing the full supply chain end-to-end within an agricultural trading business, and a degree in agribusiness, economics, or a related field; fluency in additional languages is considered an asset. The role reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
