The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive BD strategy aligned with global commercial objectives, leading and mentoring a team of business development and sales professionals, and building partnerships with biopharma clients. They will drive sales pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across various CDMO services and collaborate with global teams to shape proposals and delivery plans.
The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in business development or commercial leadership roles within the CDMO or CRO industry, with a proven track record of selling services to pharma and biotech clients. They should have a strong network and relationships with decision-makers in the industry, as well as a deep understanding of drug development, manufacturing, and regulatory considerations. The successful applicant will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and an advanced degree is preferred.
