the client is seeking a business development professional to help drive international B2B growth within the pharmaceutical sector, with a focus on oncology and contract manufacturing partnerships. In this role, you will identify and engage potential business partners, assess commercial opportunities for feasibility and profitability, and ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and portfolio.
You will negotiate and manage CMO/CDMO agreements and partnerships, and represent the client at international events and industry trade fairs to promote collaboration and new growth opportunities. You will also work closely with internal teams across operations, regulatory affairs, technology transfer, supply chain, and finance to support smooth project execution, while tracking market trends and sharing insights to inform commercial strategies.
The successful applicant will have a university degree in a relevant field such as economics, international business, business administration, or industrial/commercial engineering, along with 3–5 years of business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in B2B and CMO/CDMO environments. Experience with sterile products is an advantage, and the role requires strong negotiation and contract management skills, fluent English at a high level (C1), and a proactive, results-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and strategic thinking abilities. An existing professional network within the industry and the ability to thrive in multicultural environments will be valued.
