The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the entire sales process for R&D Tax Incentive opportunities, from generating leads to closing contracts. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, involving building a strong pipeline, engaging with key decision-makers, and converting valuable opportunities that support business growth. The focus is on consultative selling, where the candidate will need to understand technical challenges, ask insightful questions, and position the company as the preferred partner for businesses involved in R&D.Working closely with the Head of Growth and Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in achieving the company's ambitious growth targets for FY27. The ultimate goal is to help Kiwi businesses access $100 million in R&D funding by 2030, a target known as the Swell100.
