Description

The client is seeking a Business Development Executive to support 360° search solutions for the global commodities markets, with a focus on expanding commercial relationships across trading and agricultural stakeholders. The role will involve driving business growth across relevant product categories including pulses, edible beans, lentils, peas, seeds, and organics, while using market trends to maintain competitiveness.

Key responsibilities include generating and developing current and new customers, expanding professional networks and potential markets, and representing the company internationally at overseas trade shows a few times per quarter. The role also supports end-to-end contract management to help ensure proper contract terms from shipping through receiving payment, partnering with executive leadership to develop and implement business strategies.

Candidates are expected to have a degree in a related field (such as agribusiness, agriculture, or economics) and a fundamental understanding of agricultural supply chain and logistics, typically within the context of the relevant products. Previous leadership and team management experience is preferred, and fluency in spoken and written Arabic is required; strong strategy development and adaptability based on collaboration with executive leadership are also expected.
