kW-set is looking for a Business Development Director to lead and expand their data center business in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and growing the Swedish customer base for mission-critical backup power solutions for data centers. This role involves meeting with existing and potential customers, identifying new opportunities, shaping solutions, and driving deals from initial discussions to signed contracts. As the first dedicated hire in Sweden, the Business Development Director will need to have a commercial mindset and strong pipeline management skills to ensure continuous follow-up and development of meetings, leads, and actions. Collaboration with technical designers, project managers, partners, and suppliers is essential to create competitive turnkey solutions. Regular travel within Sweden, as well as to Norway, Finland, and the Tuusula head office, is required for this position.The Business Development Director will work as part of a Nordic data center team and report to the Chief Development Sales Officer (CDO). This role requires a proactive and outgoing approach to sales, as well as the ability to work closely with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with experience in the data center industry being a plus. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to manage a complex sales process from start to finish. The Business Development Director will play a key role in driving the growth of kW-set's data center business in Sweden and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success in the Nordic region.
