The client is seeking a Business Development Director to serve as the first US-based representative. The role will focus on establishing and growing sales of the client’s in-house coffee capsule brand and private label solutions, including coffee filling services, across the United States. This position is critical to driving the successful introduction of new aluminum and compostable K-Cup lines and expanding the client’s market footprint.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy, building and maintaining relationships with major US retailers, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to achieve sales targets. The director will lead the introduction and promotion of the client’s new K-Cup lines, collaborate with European headquarters to align marketing strategies, product launches, and sales initiatives, and provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and marketing plans. The role also involves representing the client at industry events, trade shows, and meetings, and preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in beverage private label business development and demonstrated ability to work effectively with key US retailers. They should be an excellent communicator and strategic thinker with strong negotiation and presentation skills, and be able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the coffee capsule market and familiarity with Nespresso-compatible and K-Cup formats are appreciated, and the role typically requires willingness to travel as needed; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
