Description

The client is seeking a Finance Director to lead its digital finance transformation, which has a global and social impact. This position operates within a values-oriented, international environment.

The client is an organization dedicated to promoting transparency, fairness, and sustainability in global supply chains. It combines a nonprofit foundation with several commercial subsidiaries, blending entrepreneurial thinking with societal impact.

The Finance Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the clients financial strategy, monitoring and analyzing financial metrics to support corporate objectives, and managing and optimizing budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, the role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance business strategy.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing the finance team, supporting strategic decisions through informed financial analyses, and reporting results to the executive management.

Applicants should have a degree in economics or a related field, with relevant additional qualifications, and 12-15+ years of experience in senior finance roles, including at least five years at the FD/CFO level. The ideal candidate will have broad leadership experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, risk, and compliance, with a proven track record in transformation, ERP implementation, and process optimization.

International experience in complex multi-entity structures is required, preferably including Germany and Latin America. Strong communication skills at the C-level, high integrity, and strategic thinking are essential, with Spanish being an advantage and a high proficiency in English required.

The position offers an attractive annual salary between 135,000 EUR and 165,000 EUR, and provides an opportunity to help shape a modern, global finance function that supports an organization with significant societal relevance.
