Description

The client seeks a Brand President for an established fine jewelry group with both traditional wholesale operations and a digital direct-to-consumer approach. This entrepreneurial, collaborative leadership role reports to the CEO and is responsible for all major business functions, including design, production, merchandising, planning, inventory management, sales and marketing, systems and logistics, and the e-commerce and livestreaming DTC businesses. The President will oversee division budgets and help implement corporate strategies to meet or exceed company goals.

The role will develop and execute an annual business plan focused on growth and profitability, and will manage financial performance against stated objectives while maintaining the corporate culture, vision, and mission. Responsibilities include leading distribution and sales strategy to expand into new markets and customers across wholesale, interactive TV, and DTC e-commerce and livestreaming channels; enhancing systems infrastructure to support growth; recruiting and training team members as needed; and directing product merchandising strategy, including product development planning and inventory management. The President will also lead multi-channel and omni-channel marketing and inventory strategies, ensuring cohesive operations across all business functions.

Key deliverables include leading and mentoring a team of 16 employees; evolving operational plans, communication protocols, and cross-functional calendars; improving control mechanisms and business metrics; and overseeing core IT systems supporting the business. The role will guide product development and sourcing/logistics to maximize efficiency and maintain vendor relationships, bring new collections to market in line with the brand’s merchandising cadence, maintain sales goals across channels, and drive DTC e-commerce and live streaming performance while strengthening relationships with retail partners. The client expects a proven entrepreneurial leader with substantial leadership experience, strong analytics and planning skills, and the ability to balance customer preferences and brand aesthetics with financial outcomes, along with effective communication and well-rounded merchandising and marketing acumen; a bachelor’s degree is required and an MBA is preferred.
