the client is seeking strategic, hands-on board leaders to join the board of directors for a healthcare services platform focused on facility-based care. This founder-led organization is positioned for growth and transformation with the support of a private equity partner. Board members will serve as strategic partners to the executive team, helping drive operational scaling, financial growth, and value-based care initiatives through both tactical guidance and long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities include providing governance and oversight through strategic input on company initiatives, growth opportunities, and operational optimization; reviewing and advising on quarterly financial performance, KPIs, and management reporting; and participating in board meetings and investor calls. Directors will also collaborate with the CEO and the private equity sponsor to support business milestones and long-term objectives, while actively contributing engagement to accelerate value creation.
The ideal candidate will bring healthcare experience, a growth mindset, and a willingness to be actively involved in execution. Relevant backgrounds may include senior living or facility-based care operations, value-based care leadership, or payer-side experience with risk-based contracting and insurance product design for senior populations. Prior board experience is welcomed but not required; engagement of approximately 6+ hours per quarter beyond board meetings is expected, and limited concurrent board seats (ideally fewer than five) is preferred.
