The client is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join its voluntary Board of Directors. Applicants should have experience in finance, legal, community development, or human resources, and candidates may bring expertise in one or more of these areas.
The Board meets six times per year in person in Bray, County Wicklow. Members are also expected to participate in a subcommittee that meets online approximately four times annually.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a community-focused service, with an expected commitment of a minimum of three years. Where appropriate, candidates may be interested in joining a subcommittee first to build familiarity with the organization, and subcommittees may include finance, ethics, governance and compliance, alongside communications and fundraising, which are expected to be transitioned into subcommittees.
