Ideal candidates are parents or caregivers raising a child with a mental health or behavioral concern, are committed to the mission and to supporting the organization’s leadership, and are motivated to help catalyze positive change for mental health issues in the community through relationship building and active support of the organization’s growth.
Candidates should bring knowledge or expertise in areas such as finance, marketing, human resources, education, the legal system, fundraising, and/or health insurance. Board members are expected to provide leadership support across relevant functions and may participate in in-person discussions connected to opportunities with the client’s leadership and support programs.
