The client is seeking to appoint three new Board Members to strengthen governance and support delivery of its ambitious strategy for increasing impact, integration, and long-term sustainability. This values-led opportunity will involve strategic oversight, constructive challenge, and support alongside a committed Board and executive team to respond to growing complexity across housing, health, and care, with the aim of ensuring services make a tangible difference to people’s lives across Sussex. The roles are offered as Board-level positions within a collaborative, high-performing governance environment.

Two Audit & Risk Committee roles are sought: one for a qualified finance professional with strong financial and audit expertise, and one for a housing development professional with experience as a Registered Provider. A People, Pay & Culture Committee role is also available for a senior HR or organisational development leader. The client will expect Board Members to contribute in a way that strengthens assurance, risk management, and people-focused leadership, while maintaining effective governance and alignment with strategic priorities.

Successful candidates will bring strategic leadership experience and strong governance awareness, with the ability to balance oversight, support, and constructive challenge. The client is looking for a demonstrated commitment to inclusion, co-production, and values-led leadership, along with credibility to represent the client with partners and stakeholders.
