The client is seeking voluntary board members to strengthen and broaden the board’s skills and experience. Prospective board members may bring expertise in areas such as charity and community; sustainability and circular economy; governance and organisational development; funding and project development; and administration and strategy.
Board members will contribute their knowledge to support governance, strategic direction, and continued organisational development. The role involves participating actively in board meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making, providing good governance and oversight, sharing relevant professional knowledge and experience, and acting in the best interests of The client and the communities it supports.
Candidates should be willing to work collaboratively with fellow board members and management. Applicants are not expected to have experience across all five areas, and The client particularly welcomes individuals who can provide specialist knowledge in one or more of the listed areas.
