Gender Rebels is seeking passionate individuals to join their Board as General Board Members. This role involves contributing to the overall governance, strategy, and operational success of the organization. Board Members will actively participate in meetings, assist with decision-making and strategic planning, support events and fundraising initiatives, and act as positive ambassadors for Gender Rebels within the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the mission of Gender Rebels and the well-being of the transgender and gender-diverse community, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills.
The time commitment for this voluntary role is approximately 6-8 hours per month. While prior board experience is not necessary, individuals with skills in areas such as finance, fundraising, and research are encouraged to apply. Gender Rebels values a diverse range of specialist skills and lived experiences to effectively uphold the organization's mission and values. Transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals are strongly encouraged to apply, as their lived experiences are seen as invaluable assets to the leadership team.
