The client is seeking an experienced Board of Directors member to provide strong governance and support an action plan that delivers supports to childcare services and childminders within the region. Board Directors are expected to provide strategic oversight, contribute to long-term planning, ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, and support financial sustainability by monitoring organizational performance. This position also includes advocacy and representation of the organization’s interests in the community, along with participation in regular board meetings and occasional events.
the ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in governance, leadership, or senior management. Human resources knowledge and experience are required, and knowledge of childcare is desirable. The candidate should have a strong understanding of charity operations and compliance requirements, along with excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
