The client is seeking a Board Director to support the governance and strategic oversight of a community-based organization serving 8–14 year olds and their families. The role is suited to someone with strong knowledge of the community and the voluntary sector, with board membership experience as an advantage. Familiarity with early years and/or general funding application processes for the voluntary sector would also be advantageous.
Board Director responsibilities include contributing to board discussions and decision-making, supporting the work of established subcommittees, and helping ensure effective governance across key areas such as HR and staffing, finance, governance, and health and safety. The board meets eight times per year, with a mix of in-person and online meetings, supporting ongoing engagement and oversight throughout the year.
Meetings for early 2026 are scheduled on Wednesday, September 16 at 1:30pm (in person) and Tuesday, October 20 at 4:15pm (Zoom). Membership on the board is intended to be a rewarding opportunity for an individual who wants to work with a long-established organization serving the Dublin 15 area.
