The client is a provider of leadership development programs for senior leaders within children’s services in local authorities and partner organizations. It designs and delivers professional development and leadership support for people in senior leadership roles, with a focus on improving outcomes for children, young people, and families. The client also delivers a national leadership development program for new and aspiring Directors of Children’s Services, with a strong emphasis on developing a diverse leadership pipeline, and provides bespoke leadership development solutions for organizations and their senior leadership teams.
The client is seeking Board Chair and Board Members to help sustain organizational momentum and support its next phase of development. The Board Chair is a remunerated role requiring approximately 10–12 days per year, including a mix of in-person and virtual meetings, and regular collaboration with the Chief Executive. Board Members are non-remunerated roles with reasonable expenses covered and an expected commitment of approximately 4–6 days per year, offering an opportunity to contribute as a Non-Executive Director by providing support and constructive challenge.
