Uniting AgeWell Limited is seeking an experienced governance leader to serve as its next Board Chair during a time of significant organizational evolution and strategic expansion. The new Chair will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the organization while upholding its core values of Kindness, Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Inclusion. Reporting to the Board of Directors and being accountable to the Uniting Church in Australia Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, the Chair will provide strategic leadership and ensure the highest standards of governance, safety, quality, and performance.The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of aged care sector dynamics, regulatory frameworks, risk oversight, and clinical governance. They must also possess the ability to steward complex organizational change while remaining grounded in purpose. The Chair will guide the Board into its next strategic cycle and lead the launch of the new strategy in the future, playing a central role in the organization's growth trajectory over the next five years.
