When going into an executive-level job interview, you can expect plenty of questions that revolve around your leadership style. It is important to remember that you are interviewing for a role where making crucial decisions and delivering results is expected.

At an interview for an executive-level position, you must go prepared with responses that highlight your experience, expertise, and how your background can improve the organization. Your answers should involve structure and reveal how you demonstrated the results. A helpful tactic to employ is the PAR technique.

The PAR technique provides an easy structure for answering behavioral interview questions. PAR stands for Problem, Action, Result.

Begin with a description of the Problem or situation that you had to take care of.

Then, explain the Action and steps you took to tackle the problem.

Lastly, describe the Result of your decisions and actions. Make sure to clearly assess the results.

Practice makes perfect, so here are 10 common interview questions for executive-level jobs. The PAR technique isn't necessary for all but try to apply the method where you see fit.
