The dean will work with a community spanning students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and will support the college’s focus on confronting and solving society’s most complex problems through research and experiential learning.
The dean will lead and advance the college’s strategic, programmatic, financial, and operational elements in close collaboration with the provost and a supportive team of other academic deans. Interdisciplinary collaboration is essential, and the dean will partner with assistant and associate deans as well as unit leadership to support the college’s academic mission. The role will guide a faculty and student community that conducts research and creative work across traditional boundaries, helping shape how knowledge and technology contribute to human understanding and social insight.
