The client is seeking an Associate Vice President for Facilities Engineering to serve as the most senior leader in facilities. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Associate Vice President will provide leadership and oversight of the operation and maintenance of client facilities and will help advance infrastructure capabilities while driving sustainability initiatives aligned with key growth strategies.
The role will support the continued enhancement of facilities and real estate functions across a complex, multi-site enterprise. In addition, it is expected to help ensure readiness for upcoming system changes, including the opening of a new hospital building scheduled for 2028, featuring a Level I trauma center, an academic teaching hospital, and a 225-bed facility within approximately 600,000 square feet.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, facilities management, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of progressive experience in strategic real estate and facilities management within a large, complex health system or similar enterprise, along with demonstrated experience integrating and leading real estate and facilities functions across multiple sites.
