The Associate Vice-President, People, Equity & Inclusion (AVP) reports directly to the President and is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. The AVP is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the areas of human resources and organizational development to support the Colleges mission, vision, and strategic priorities. This includes overseeing human resource policies, labour relations practices, collective bargaining negotiations, contract administration, employee recruitment, performance management, professional development, and compensation and benefits administration. The AVP is also expected to maintain a respectful, equitable, and inclusive workplace environment.In addition to strategic leadership, the AVP will also be involved in operational human resources work, particularly in the area of labour relations. The successful candidate will need to balance both strategic and operational responsibilities effectively. The AVP will play a crucial role in developing and delivering comprehensive human resource strategies that align with the Colleges goals and values. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in human resources management, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
