The Assistant Vice President of Advancement Events, Stewardship, and Donor Relations will oversee three key teams within the Advancement department, focusing on creating high-quality events, managing acknowledgment and reporting processes, and deepening engagement with top-tier donors and volunteers. The AVP will evaluate priorities, align team goals with university objectives, foster collaboration with internal partners, and ensure the delivery of strategic and personalized donor experiences. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree, fifteen years of experience in Advancement, Donor Relations/Stewardship, and nine years of management experience, although equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.The successful candidate will lead the Advancement Events team in creating diverse events across various formats, manage the Stewardship and Gift Administration team in ensuring fund accountability and donor acknowledgment, and oversee the Donor Relations team in enhancing engagement with key donors and volunteers. The AVP will play a crucial role in aligning the work of these teams with the overall goals of the university, fostering collaboration with other departments, and ensuring a consistent delivery of personalized donor experiences. The position requires a strong background in Advancement, Donor Relations, and Stewardship, as well as significant management experience, with a preference for candidates with a Masters degree and at least fifteen years of relevant experience.
