The Associate Vice President of Corporate Engagement will report to the Executive Vice President for Research and work closely with academic, research, advancement, innovation, and administrative leaders to provide vision, strategy, and leadership for a comprehensive corporate engagement enterprise at the Institute. The successful candidate will build upon existing foundations to expand industry-sponsored research, strengthen partnerships, advance commercialization and entrepreneurship, enhance talent development initiatives, and increase corporate investment. They will serve as a connector across our client's ecosystem to create a cohesive experience for corporate partners, champion collaboration, transparency, and communication, and empower faculty, staff, and students to engage effectively with industry.The AVP will work to accelerate industry-sponsored research and innovation by reducing barriers to engagement, strengthening processes, advancing technology and data usage, improving contracting and partnership structures, and fostering a culture of proactive engagement. They will collaborate with institutional leaders to ensure our client remains competitive in attracting corporate investment and translating research discoveries into real-world impact. The ideal candidate will help the Institute operate strategically in a competitive corporate partnership environment, championing collaboration and communication while maintaining a service-oriented approach to empower stakeholders to engage effectively with industry.
