Description

The Associate Vice President for Human Resources will report to the Vice President for Finance & Administration/Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, leadership development, employee relations, HR technology, and policy compliance. They will work closely with the Office of Civil Rights, Institutional Equity and Belonging, and other campus leaders to ensure that equity and belonging are integrated into HR policies and practices, aligning with the College's mission and values. The AVP-HR will be instrumental in transforming the HR function into a strategic, service-oriented department focused on operational excellence, supporting the College's workforce during a period of significant change in higher education.The successful candidate will bring deep HR expertise and strong execution skills to lead a collaborative and mission-driven HR team, enhancing HR's role as a trusted campus partner. They will be tasked with modernizing systems, improving service delivery, and guiding the institution through complex organizational and workforce challenges. The AVP-HR will play a critical role in ensuring that the College's workforce is well-positioned to succeed and support institutional priorities, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
