The AVP will be responsible for leading a team of individual giving officers to cultivate and solicit major gifts from alumni, parents, and friends of the organization. They will develop and implement strategies to engage donors and build relationships that result in increased financial support. The AVP will also work closely with senior leadership, faculty, and staff to identify funding priorities and create compelling cases for support.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, with experience in major gift solicitation and donor stewardship. They will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. The AVP must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
