the client seeks an innovative, results-oriented Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (AVP-CHRO) to serve as a transformational people and culture leader. This role will help create optimal working environments by developing interconnected systems and policies for employees, while responding to the evolving landscape of higher education. The client is looking for a seasoned, inspiring HR leader with a proven record of driving positive change management and advancing a forward-looking HR approach.

reporting to the Vice President of Administration and Finance, the AVP-CHRO will lead the human resources function and strategy in alignment with the institution’s mission and strategic direction. Responsibilities include developing and administering HR policies, procedures, programs, and services that support institutional needs and objectives, as well as delivering an HR function aligned with evolving workforce trends and the unique needs of the campus community. The role will involve close partnership across the organization to address strategic HR issues and institutional priorities.

the client will consider candidates who are strategic and collaborative human resources leaders with extensive experience across broad HR functional areas and a track record of overseeing large-scale, complex initiatives.
