The client is seeking an Associate Vice President to lead its External Engagement portfolio as Associate Vice President, Sydney Future Students. Reporting to the Vice-President, External Engagement, this executive role provides strategic leadership of student recruitment and admissions functions and contributes to the organization’s growth ambitions, student experience objectives, and revenue goals.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of student recruitment and admissions strategy, driving domestic and international recruitment performance while balancing sustainable growth with broader strategic priorities. You will provide strategic advice and market intelligence to inform institutional planning and decision-making, and lead the delivery of a high-performing, service-oriented recruitment and admissions function. You will also use market insights and emerging trends to identify growth opportunities and strengthen competitive positioning.
You will develop and maintain partnerships across faculties, portfolios, and external stakeholders, and lead organizational performance, financial planning, governance, risk management, and compliance across the portfolio. The role also involves influencing policy development and strategic responses to changes in the higher education and regulatory environment, and championing continuous improvement and innovation to enhance the prospective student experience. The portfolio additionally encompasses global mobility and exchange, supporting the international student experience and global engagement agenda; The client seeks an accomplished executive leader with demonstrated capability delivering strategic growth outcomes and significant leadership experience in student recruitment, admissions, marketing, customer acquisition, commercial growth, student experience, or a related field.
