The client seeks a founding Associate Vice President, Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning (AVP) to design and build the organization’s first evidence, evaluation, and improvement function. This is a new, ground-up role focused on establishing the approach, operating model, and culture that will help the organization understand and strengthen its impact.
The AVP will lead efforts to create measurement and evaluation frameworks, develop the team and processes needed to collect and analyze relevant evidence, and translate findings into continuous learning and improvement. The role is expected to support strategic decision-making across the organization by building a sustainable system for tracking outcomes and demonstrating effectiveness.
Ideal candidates are strategic, entrepreneurial leaders who can build from the ground up and foster a culture of learning and accountability. Experience in measurement, evaluation, and learning, along with the ability to design practical frameworks and collaborate across stakeholders, will be important to successfully launch and scale the function.
