Description

The Associate Director, Student Wellbeing & Accessibility will be responsible for overseeing a team of 40 staff members in student health, counseling, development, and disability resources. They will report directly to the Senior Director, Student Success and will provide strategic leadership in fulfilling the legal duty to accommodate students. This role involves managing policies, programs, and performance metrics to create a culture of equity, inclusion, and care on campus. The Associate Director will collaborate with various individuals and committees, participate in a cross-departmental CARE Team, and provide education and support to staff and faculty on Universal Design for Learning and responding to students in distress.This position requires a visible and influential presence across the campus, shaping strategy, guiding innovation, and ensuring operational excellence in student wellbeing. The Associate Director will work to support early intervention efforts and promote a culture of wellbeing at the organization. They will play a key role in advocating for students with disabilities and ensuring that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed. Overall, the Associate Director will be a crucial leader in promoting student wellbeing and accessibility at the organization.
