The Associate Director, Payment and Banking Services is responsible for ensuring that our client's Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, and Commercial Card functions meet service standards and compliance requirements. They lead the development and implementation of processes, programs, policies, and systems to facilitate efficient payment processing for various university units. This role involves providing guidance on operational issues, interpreting UVic policy, setting service levels, managing fraud cases, and developing risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, the Associate Director manages relationships with banking and financial service providers to support the university's financial operations.Reporting to the Director, Payment and Banking Services, the Associate Director plays a crucial role in overseeing payment processing at our client. They are accountable for maintaining high standards of service and compliance in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, and Commercial Card functions. This position involves developing best practices, policies, and systems to support payment processing across the university, as well as managing partner relationships with banking and financial service providers. The Associate Director also provides guidance on operational issues, interprets UVic policy, sets service levels, and manages fraud cases to ensure the efficient and secure processing of incoming and outgoing payments.
