The client, a global consultancy based in London, is seeking an Associate Director of Competition Economics to lead projects related to competition economics, profitability, and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the competition practice and working on projects involving mergers, market investigations, abuse of dominance, and collusive practices. As an Associate Director, you will lead client engagements, develop talent within the team, and build enduring client relationships with utilities, infrastructure funds, and financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will have a professional and educational background in competition economics, with a MA/MSc/MPhil or above in Economics. Significant experience working in economics in a consulting firm, regulator, regulated firm, or government department is required. Experience in developing new business and managing economic or financial analysis for large projects is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading projects covering economic and financial topics, managing teams and resources, and explaining complex issues clearly to clients.
