The Associate Director will play a crucial role in leading financial reporting services operations within the Finance and Corporate Services team. They will provide strategic financial advisory services to boards, committees, and executive management, ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant financial reporting. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of finance professionals, fostering collaboration, development, and performance excellence. The Associate Director will lead all aspects of financial reporting, including financial close, external and board committee reporting, and external audits. They will also direct accounting standards research and development of accounting positions, policies, and procedures, as well as lead the accounts payable, receivable, and inventory costing teams.Additionally, the Associate Director will collaborate with the treasury and cash management teams to ensure investments, cash payments and receipts, and foreign currency transactions are appropriately integrated into financial reporting. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement through the implementation of enhanced financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
