the client is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Clinical Development Trial Lead to drive the execution of complex global oncology clinical trials. This highly visible leadership role will oversee study strategy and execution, including enrollment, budgets, CRO partnerships, and cross-functional team coordination, while contributing to clinical development decisions at a global level.
In this role, you will independently lead cross-functional study teams to develop and execute complex clinical trials and ensure delivery of clinical milestones with quality, on time, and within scope and budget. You will demonstrate independent leadership to influence teams, management, and business partners, proactively identify and resolve issues, and apply broad therapeutic and clinical drug development knowledge to inform study design and program-level decisions while considering regional needs. You will also coordinate the collection of regional input for study teams and serve as the single point of accountability for the Trial Master File for assigned trials, working with functional record owners to keep materials current and inspection ready.
You will ensure inspection readiness for assigned clinical trials, including timely documentation of deviations and creation of supporting materials for high-risk areas and key topics. You will report, manage, and interpret clinical trial information, ensuring completeness and accuracy across business systems, and drive regional clinical operational processes and methodologies. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or health-related field (preferred) and at least 5 years of clinical research and/or clinical trial experience with strong knowledge of the clinical research process, including a minimum of 5 years in clinical trial work; oncology experience across early and late phases is expected, along with prior trial site-level or affiliate experience and familiarity with local/country regional requirements. Periodic travel to scientific or regional meetings is expected.
