The client is seeking an Associate Director for BI&A focused on HCP media. The role is responsible for understanding current execution and performance of HCP media, as well as supporting Brand/Business Unit strategies, media objectives, and data sources. The associate director will translate analytical understanding into identifying and prioritizing opportunities to build on existing or create new analytical solutions that improve media efficiency and effectiveness.
The associate director will collaborate with BI&A expertise and delivery teams to conduct discovery and development within a seamless analytics delivery model. Responsibilities include identifying areas to standardize analytical approaches and best practices, ensuring clear documentation of methodology and code to improve reusability and efficiency, and developing and prioritizing capability investments and/or data needs to achieve BI&A and media goals. The role also involves supporting business decisions with evidence grounded in analytics, bringing an objective and data-driven perspective to facilitate decisions, and proactively coordinating learning and knowledge sharing across BI&A and cross-functional partners.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring analytical insights are shared and applied across brands, and maintaining compliance with privacy and contractual obligations related to data use. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least five years of industry experience, and experience with HCP media and digital and/or direct media performance analysis. The role typically requires strong learning agility, direct experience with analytics using R, SQL, SSIS or similar statistical programming languages, robust Excel modeling skills, exposure to omnichannel and HCP media/marketing, experience working with first- and third-party data sources, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar, along with strong analytical skills, business acumen, communication, interpersonal skills, and a track record delivering complex cross-functional projects.
