The client is seeking an Associate Director to lead business intelligence, analytics, and insights for HCP media. The role will understand current execution and performance across media strategies, media objectives, and data sources, translating that understanding into prioritized opportunities for building or enhancing analytical solutions that improve media efficiency and effectiveness. The Associate Director will collaborate with BI&A expertise and delivery teams to support discovery and development through a seamless analytics delivery model.
Key responsibilities include identifying areas to standardize analytical approaches and best practices, ensuring clear documentation of methodology and code to improve reusability and efficiency, and assessing capability investments and data needs to support BI&A and company media goals. The Associate Director will develop and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, facilitate data-grounded business decisions, and provide an objective perspective. They will proactively coordinate learning and knowledge sharing across BI&A and cross-functional partners and ensure analytical insights are shared and applied across brands, while maintaining compliance with applicable privacy and contractual obligations for data use.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, statistics, computer science, business analytics, economics, marketing, mathematics, or equivalent subject-matter work experience, along with at least five years of industry experience. The role expects experience with HCP media and direct digital and/or direct media performance analysis, strong analytical skills paired with business acumen, and high learning agility to build trust across varying levels. Preferred qualifications include working with R and/or SQL and statistical programming, strong Excel modeling, experience with omnichannel/HCP marketing, familiarity with first- and third-party data sources (such as CRM, SOA, DMP, DSP, web analytics, and log files), and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau; additional experience with statistical modeling techniques, complex cross-functional project delivery, and strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills is also expected.
