The client is seeking an Associate Director, BI&A HCP Media to partner across teams to evolve analytical approaches and measurement practices for digital and direct Healthcare Professional (HCP) Media. In this player-coach role, you will help develop enterprise-wide analytics methodologies while upskilling others to support adoption and delivery within your area. You will serve as a data-driven thought leader, helping teams maximize the value of HCP Media through improved measurement and evidence-based decision-making.
Key responsibilities include understanding current HCP media execution, performance, brand or business unit strategies, media objectives, and data sources; translating these insights into opportunities for new or enhanced analytical solutions that improve media efficiency and effectiveness; and collaborating with BI&A expertise and delivery teams in a streamlined analytics delivery model. You will identify areas to standardize analytical approaches and best practices, ensure clear documentation (including methodology and code) for reuse, and recommend capability investments and data needs aligned to BI&A and media goals. The role also emphasizes working with cross-functional stakeholders, sharing and applying insights across brands, and ensuring privacy and contractual compliance in the use of data.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, statistics, computer science, business analytics, economics, marketing, mathematics, or equivalent subject-matter experience, along with at least five years of industry experience. The role typically requires experience with HCP media and direct digital and/or direct media performance analysis, strong learning agility, and the ability to build trust with leaders across levels. You are expected to have skills in statistical programming and analytics (e.g., R and SQL), robust Excel modeling, experience with omnichannel and/or HCP media, familiarity with first- and third-party data sources (such as CRM and web analytics), and experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau). Additional capabilities include experience with statistical modeling techniques, statistical and analytical rigor with business acumen, strong communication and prioritization, and a track record delivering complex cross-functional projects. This contract role is 40 hours per week and is remote offsite, based in Indianapolis, IN.
