The client is seeking an Associate Director, BI&A for HCP Media to partner across teams and evolve analytical approaches and measurement practices for digital and direct Healthcare Professional (HCP) media. This role will function as a player-coach, developing enterprise-wide analytical approaches and upskilling others in adoption and delivery within the associate director’s area. The Associate Director will serve as a data-driven thought leader to maximize the value of HCP media across the organization.
Key responsibilities include understanding current execution and performance of HCP media, aligning analysis to brand and business unit strategies, media objectives, and relevant data sources, and translating insights into prioritized opportunities for new or improved analytical solutions that drive media efficiency and effectiveness. The role will collaborate with BI&A expertise and delivery teams to support seamless analytics discovery and development, identify opportunities to standardize analytical approaches and best practices, and ensure clear documentation of methodology and code to improve reusability and efficiency. The Associate Director will prioritize capability investments and data needs, support evidence-based business decisions, facilitate data-grounded discussions, and coordinate learning and knowledge sharing across BI&A and cross-functional partners.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, computer science, business analytics, economics, marketing, mathematics, or equivalent related experience, along with at least five years of industry experience. The candidate should have experience with HCP media and direct digital and/or direct media performance analysis, strong analytical skills with business acumen, and the ability to think strategically and objectively in ambiguous environments. Preferred skills include knowledge of R, SQL, SSIS, or other statistical programming languages; robust Excel modeling; experience with omnichannel and HCP marketing; familiarity with first- and third-party data sources such as CRM, DMP/DSP, web analytics, and log files; experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools; statistical modeling techniques; and experience working with prescription claims data. The role is contract-based, remote offsite, and expected to maintain compliance with all privacy and contractual obligations related to data use.
