Our client Southern Cross University is looking for an academic leader to fill the role of Associate Dean (Education Partnerships) in the Faculty of Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening partnerships with schools, early childhood education and care settings, government, industry, and community on a local, national, and international level. They will lead initiatives to enhance professional experience, develop pathways into Initial Teacher Education (ITE) for school-leavers, and collaborate with the Executive Dean and Faculty leadership team to advance the Southern Cross Model.The Associate Dean will be instrumental in improving the student experience, enhancing teaching capability through evidence-based practices, and increasing public trust in teacher education. While the position involves working across multiple campuses, candidates located near the Gold Coast or Lismore campuses are preferred due to the concentration of major partnerships and Faculty leadership activities in those areas.
