The client is seeking an inaugural Associate Chief Clinical Officer (ACCO), a most-senior physician leadership role for a new medical campus scheduled to open in 2027. The ACCO will help champion the campus as a distinct, community-integrated care model emphasizing limited learners, community-based productivity standards, and rapid patient access. This expanding ambulatory care campus will support advanced adult specialty care programs and integrated diagnostic and procedural services in a modern setting.
As the ACCO, you will provide enterprise clinical leadership across all campus facilities, with oversight spanning specialty care and areas including cardiovascular services and advanced imaging. The role reports directly to the Chief Physician Executive of The client and is expected to align clinical strategy with the organization’s mission while driving a high-efficiency, patient-centered model. Working closely with other clinical leadership roles, the ACCO will help shape innovative approaches to accessible, high-quality care.
The ACCO will provide physician oversight and direction to medical directors across multiple service lines, including oncology, musculoskeletal (MSK), sports medicine, reproductive medicine, cardiovascular services, radiology, and surgery and anesthesia (and potentially expanding further). The position will partner with Department Chairs, Division Chiefs, and Clinical Physician Leaders to ensure faculty are supported, engaged in clinical practice, and operationally successful. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking physician executive with demonstrated success leading in fast-paced, complex environments and strong influence in matrix settings, with an MD or DO (or equivalent), relevant adult specialty board certification, and an active clinical practice aligned to the campus specialties.
