The client is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Advancement for the College of Medicine to serve as a senior member of The client’s advancement and development leadership teams and to act as the chief advancement officer for the college. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for fundraising, grateful patient philanthropy, and other advancement initiatives, with a focus on strengthening a culture of philanthropy among donors, alumni, faculty, grateful patients, and key stakeholders.
The Assistant Vice President will lead the college advancement team, direct fundraising priorities and campaign strategy, and develop comprehensive programs that support the institution’s education, research, clinical, and strategic objectives. The position is expected to advance the college’s contributions to The client’s broader fundraising efforts while helping align stakeholders around a shared philanthropic vision.
The role will collaborate closely with the dean, faculty, and university and healthcare leaders, as well as with colleagues across The client’s advancement organization, to build relationships with donors and partners whose investments can accelerate the college’s mission. In addition, the Assistant Vice President will support broader fundraising priorities across the health sciences colleges by connecting their ambitions to The client’s larger philanthropic strategy.
